Always wash new cotton t-shirts or fabrics before starting to spray paint. The reason for this is that some
chemical residue is usually left on cotton after the manufacturing process. This residue is water-resistant
and for best results should be removed by washing before Simply Spray is applied.

Make sure fabric is clean and free of dust, lint or greasy stains before starting. The material should be
completely dry before you begin.

  • Vacuum to remove all dust and debris from surface areas and any little nooks and crannies.
  • If necessary, clean away any surface body oils or greasy marks with soap and water or by
    dousing with soda water.
  • For stubborn greasy stains, rub area with liberal amounts of moistened baking soda (bicarbonate
of soda). Let dry overnight, then vacuum.
  • The material should be thoroughly dry before you start to paint.
  • Protect clothing and work area before use. Paint is permanent when dry.

Don't forget to test your material for suitability before starting your project. How? See here.
