EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW: Paint is intended for use on absorbent material. Test the absorbency of your material by spraying water on a small area to see if the moisture soaks in. If the water forms into beads on the surface the material is probably not suitable for painting. For best results, material should be dry, free of body oils and loose dirt. Before commencing your project, test by spraying in an inconspicuous area to assure desired results. Shake can well before using. Remove blue safety tab. Hold can 6"-8" away from project and begin spraying. Spray thin layers of paint to cover project. Rub paint into fabric in difficult areas. For even coverage, allow first coat to dry completely then reapply. Repeat until desired colour is achieved. Dry time will depend on temperature and level of humidity. To speed drying process, use a hairdryer to dry material. Allow at least 72 hours for paint to dry before using sprayed item. Ideal temperature for application is 70°F-90°F. Wash hands vigorously with soap and water to remove paint from skin. Paint is permanent on fabric. For best results, use entire can in one application. To reuse can, clear nozzle by turning can upside down and spraying for a moment, until clear gas appears. Store opened cans upside down in water once opened for optimum gas preservation.
IMPORTANT: Please be sure to test your material before commencing your project (see above). Also, check the fabric when it appears to be dry just to make sure the paint has fully absorbed. A light rub with an old clean towel works best. Make sure you are 100% happy with the results before completing your project. Do not use if paint on your test area does not absorb after normal drying time has elapsed (72 hours is recommended). Practice spraying before spraying directly on project.
